Righteousness...=)

Assalamualaikum...
Have you ever done anything that feels wrong to you but you still did it?
Have you ever done something that you don't want people to know?

If you have done something or anything which fulfill the above questions, do you feel the uneasiness inside of you? The uneasiness grew on you silently, pleading for it to be noticed. That's when you start to doubt whether what you did was wrong or right.
You tried to reason with yourself of doing it, saying that it was a right thing to do.

Had you tried thinking back of your action, you might say this to
yourself. "How on the earth can I know what am I doing is wrong or not?"

So now, let me enlighten you with the knowledge that I've gained
from the GenQ camp.

Hadith 27

Al-Nawwas bin Sam'an, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that
the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said:

"Righteousness is good character, and sin is that which wavers in your heart and which you do not want people to know about."[Muslim]
According to Wabisah bin Ma'bad, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said:

I came to the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, and he said: "You have come to ask about righteousness ?" " Yes," I answered. He said: "Consult your heart. Righteousness is that about which the soul feels tranquil and the heart feels tranquil, and sin is what creates restlessness in the soul and moves to and fro in the breast, even though people give you their opinion (in your favour) and continue to do so." [A good hadith transmitted from the Musnads of the two Imams, Ahmad bin Hanbal and Al-Darimi]
Now that you know how to differentiate what's right and wrong, have you ever wondered why do you feel that way? Who actually has brought forth the feeling inside of you?

"And know that among you is God's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But God has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness."           (Al-Hujurat 49: 7)

Subhanallah...
Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware and the Most Compassionate.
ALLAH has already stated in the Quran that we are born with the feeling of not liking doing sin. I am really touched when I read this verse. Especially when it says, God has made it beautiful in your hearts. I feel very special and blessed for being created as a human being. Don't you feel that we are special to Allah? We are the ultimate creations that He has created in this world.

Alhamdulillah,alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah...

But why do we still sin? We are not naturally born as sinners for we are born as pure beings, free from sins. So, why?

I will try my best to explain about this in the next post with the knowledge that I've also gained from the GenQ camp...insyaAllah.
