Repeat

And the verse kept repeating in my mind.

Yes, I'm being dead serious. The said, incomplete verse keeps repeating itself in my not-so-clear mind.

I wished I had an A-Ha moment, so I didn't have to rely on Mr Google (the source of all goodness...eh?) to recall that verse.

But still, as someone who have yet to remember every details in the Qur'an, I struggled to find which verse exactly it is. :(

Hah, that just tells me, I need to work on my understanding of the Qur'an more ey?

So I gave up relying on my mind for a while.

"Let's try googling what little phrase or word you remember from the verse, okay?"

"Alrighttt !"

So there ! I started googling the verse, and ta-dah ! As expected, thousands of results popped on the screen within milliseconds.

Yet, interestingly, none of the verses from the myriad of results matched up with the one in my mind.

Weird, I know right?

And so, today, while I was reading through the Qur'an, the verse is there !

THE verse....Right in front of my two eyes !!!

Allahuakbar ! I feel like crying because when I read through the meaning, it vibrates a sense of nostalgia.. :')

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّـهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّـهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّـهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.
